The p5q deluxe has been tested on Ubuntu 8.04 and 8.10 beta. There was no need to download any additional drivers for the network card or for basic support of the soudcard. To get the digital-audio out of the ADC2000B chipset to work, the 2.6.27 kernel neeeded to be patched. The patches required are discused here [ ]. The patches should be merged into the 2.6.28 kernel.
So I want to update an old BIOS on my Asus M32 desktop from 2014. I went to the Asus website to find the most recent version. I searched by motherboard, which is listed in the UEFI BIOS as K30BF_M32BF. The exact model number I just listed isn't a thing on there, but the individual parts of it are, and they both lead to the same BIOS version (version 0704, Model: K30BF/M32BF/K31BF). I download this and extract the compressed file to a flash drive. When I go into the BIOS and try to use the EZ Flash Utility under Advanced, and select the .CAP file that I have on my newly formatted thumb drive, I get a message saying "Security Verification Failed". 2ff7e9595c
